11 month pictures

I made the mistake - SCRATCH THAT - i had the pleasure of having Connor's pictures made every month to show how much he is growing. This is a great idea, in theory, but it is quite time consuming! You would think it would be easy to take him to get quick pictures at Portrait Innovations or JCPenney...but its not. This month, Kate Nabors (soon to be Kate Whitmore) CAME TO US!!! It was such a treat to not have to get Connor dressed & ready and deal w/ the stresses of making him smile in a different environment. With Kate here, i just got to worry about him smiling while he played with his toys/destroyed his room.

We had fun.

growing up and getting older

I know most of you read this blog to see the pictures & watch CJM as he grows - and hasn't he grown? I'm just sitting here in bed wasting time on the internet & can't help but think back to when my baby was a baby and he didn't move a lot and he didn't make me sweat any time i try to change his clothes or diaper. you think i'm kidding? i'm not.

very soon he will be 1 year old and i will be a very sad moma. i can't help it! i KNOW he has to grow up! He's a kid, he will love it when he grows up, but i'm not having another baby for a LONG time & i want to be able to cherish this time without letting it slip away.

it seems like everyone is having babies or will be soon, so until Connor becomes the cuddle type (which is unlikely considering my lack of cuddle for my famiy) i will just have to take other babies and cuddle with them! tomorrow it will be baby ella and in June it will be baby X jackson.

could someone make my baby shrink, pronto!

Happy Birthday Jesus & Merry Christmas!!!

We began this holiday extravaganza on Christmas Eve. we headed to church for their Christmas eve service and celebration of the Lord's supper. can i just say, thank you Lord for childcare? i am so thankful that i got to worship without a loud squirmy baby! It was refreshing since i had been working what seems like every weekend!
