what's goin' on

We've been having LOTS AND LOTS of fun lately!  Connor has been exposed to other children while going to the babysitter 3-4 days a week & I am trying to survive my junior (sophomore) year!  Incidentally, school has not been the fun part, but Connor is fun!  I absolutely love to watch him grown & learn & become mischievous!  At work they tell me that i should get used to it...that, i'm not looking forward to!  :)

Connor is now standing up to everything!  he's even trying to stand up in his bathtub, which is becoming slightly problematic!!  He's cut 2 teeth (bottom two) but, i've only taken a picture of one (i'm a slacker).   Connor has experienced his first and second high school football game.  we haven't made it to an MTSU game yet, but i'm sure we will...eventually.  Connor is also broadening his food horizons - along with stage 2 baby food, he's loving Cheerio's, Gerber Puffs, & pancakes!!!!

Tooth #1

This is just funny - if you can't see it very well, view the 7 months album to the right!

KIDDIE POOL!
he loves it!  i'm hoping for a few more warm warm days

yes, he stands up in here too

Football Fun!

First pancake!  He was definitely a fan.

Turkey baby food.  it was gross.

catching up

well, i was informed by my mother today that i needed to update my blog... why exactly the timeliness of my updates bother her, i'm not sure - considering that we live with her!  but, regardless, she is right...i do need to update.

life is busy busy busy!  connor recently began at a new daycare & i'm still at my new (but not so new) job.  this month i'll be working both full-time & part-time.  confusing?  yes.  basically, i'll be working all day, and the days i'm on the part-time schedule, i'll just work a little later.  this is kind of a bummer because that means a few days a week i don't get to pick connor up from daycare.  but, i still get to put him to bed, which is really important to me.

regarding our title tonight, i;m posting pictures of an assortment.

prunes!  one of our favorites

connor is definitely on the move!  i put him down on his "activity gym" & i found him under the coffee table!

C eating the bowl after his morning cereal

before Connor's first day of daycare

playing in the basket

playing in his robe after bath time!

this is C's "almost" crawl...he just doesnt understand that he can MOVE from this position!

We wish you all a wonderful Monday!

squash Soup?

Can you guess what we started tonight?  (of course you can, you're smart!)
New foods are always fun because of
a) the new face - which you will see
b) i have no "b"...but if you have an "a," a "b" is required.

I'll let the pictures explain.  (Adam - connor's dad - was here for this feeding.  C wasn't thrilled when someone new tried to feed him)

After the First Bite!

This is C's before the cry face - bestowed upon Adam when he tried to feed Connor

So, i took back over

This is just a fun picture
C grabbed his foot and the spoon & preceded
to put the spoon in his own mouth

Maybe he'll potty train himself?

I do not understand blogspot sometimes!  What are these underlines for?

maybe i'll come up with a creative title later...

Here are just a few pictures that we've taken recently.  I'm trying to keep my camera with me to capture random moments...but its not really working.  lol

I love this airplane sleeper, but it accidentally got organized into the 6 month clothing...so, to capture the moment, i took a few pictures!  (i guess over organizing is possible)

This week, Connor spent a few days with his Nunna (my grandmother) so i could observe at Siegel High School for one of my classes.  His favorite thing to do was watch lay on his palette and watch CMT.  lol

Recently, Connor has found his hand...which is great...but he ONLY wants his hand.  And while i'm not strictly against sucking thumbs or fingers, i don't really plan on advocating it.  But, it makes for cute pictures!

Tonight, i went through my mom's cedar chest looking for some clothes for Connor with family value...i didn't find much.  But, i did find this cute little beret which belonged to my Uncle Rue

This is just funny.  I wore this hat when i was 8 days old and had my picture taken with Santa Claus.  I didn't believe it would fit Connor, so we tried it on!
