Halloween - a full day!

Connor & I had a VERY full Halloween (hence the title).  The day started off with Connor's 9 month check up with Dr. Collins and Nurse Keesha.  I've been looking forward to the 9 mo ckup because there are NO SHOTS!!!  only a quick, simple finger prick!

Did i mention that Peds dresses up for Halloween?
Keesha is a tin woman!

One of my favorites.  He was so well behaved on the scale
19 lb, 11 oz.

the finger prick.  he liked eating the band aid

Then, we went home so that Connor could take a much-needed nap.  Being that i work at the clinic, appointments always take a while because we have to visit.  and we LOVE to visit all of our friends, but by the time we left, Connor was ready to go to sleep!!!  We changed him from his Charlie Brown outfit and put him in his "baby's first halloween" outfit.  he was very cute, i must say.

Connor right after waking up. Can't you tell?

Looking at his Halloween basket like it's insane.

eating his Halloween rubber duck.  i love rubber ducks, therefore, Connor has one for nearly every holiday!

Then, we changed back to the Halloween outfit!  Charlie Brown, here we come!
love this!  he's BOUNCING!

First we made a stop at MidSouth Bank.
Mimi's boss, Jennifer is holding Connor's back while he was typing

Connor likes to hang out w/ Snoopy.  They are friends

Next we went to visit Connor's (Great)Aunt Clara.
She was so nice to get him a special treat!
Thanks for the puffs Aunt Clara!

Needless to say, that's all the Halloween i have right now.  My camera went dead in the middle of trick-or-treating and the rest is on Pops's Computer.  We'll update soon!

Walden Farms

i read on Alison's blog about Walden Farms in Smyrna, so on Saturday, mom and i met jeff, amanda and owen and made the trip to smyrna to see some pumpkins (and take a lot of pictures).  Best of all - its free!!!

connor was definitely a trooper considering that going to the pumpkin patch meant little to no morning nap.  that is why he isn't smiling in many of the pictures!  and owen did great even though he's been fighting a nasty nasty ear infection!  we had a blast and hope to go again next year when the are both walking and can enjoy more of the activities.

Owen still needs some help sitting up, but will be taking lessons from Connor soon

He loved playing with the pumpkins.  Even tried to eat a few!

One of the highlights of the day - John Deere
(this makes me wonder if he is my child)

They loved sitting in this chair together

They quickly fell asleep as soon as the pictures were over.
